Mopedi is an offline wikipedia reader.

Separately downloadable wikipedia databases have full article text and include images and equations. Location information is also included, so phone GPS can be used to list nearby places and those can be displayed on the phone maps.

London Center sample database is included with over 2000 places of interest and over 6000 images.
